Setting up Measurement Channels

To set up measurement channels of the oscilloscope, proceed as follows:

1. In the Measure Channels pane, select one or more channels you want to set up.

   Note
   Bit channels cannot be set up.

2. Do one of the following:

   • In the Extras menu, select Setup.
   • Double-click the channel you want to set up.
   • Press the <s> key.

   The Display setup dialog window opens.

3. In the from and to fields, adjust the lower and upper limits.

   The values you enter here form the upper and lower limits of the y axis in the oscilloscope display. The default range is 0–100.

4. In the Line Color field, select a color for the channel.

   Note
   The Line Color field is available only when you selected a single channel in the Measure Channels pane.

   The channel you selected is now displayed in that color. You can display several values with the same color, but that may make the display less clear. By default, every value is assigned a different color.

5. From the Display type combo box, select the line style.

   If you select steps, a step is drawn between two measurement values, if you select line, they are connected by a straight line.

6. Click OK to accept the settings.
