Exchanging Attributes between Measurement Windows

Attributes from one measurement window can be copied to another one, to facilitate setting up complex experiments. Only the settings applicable to a particular measurement window are copied, and you can choose which ones to copy.

1. In the measurement window from which you want to copy the settings, open the Extras menu, point to Attributes and select Copy.

2. In the measurement window to which you want to copy the settings, open the Extras menu, point to Attributes and select Paste.

   The Filter Attributes Dialog window opens. It lists all the attributes applicable to the new measurement window, together with the settings they had in the old one.

3. In the Value column, click the value of an attribute.

   The field becomes a combo box.

4. From the combo box, select an appropriate value.

   If you select Yes, the attribute is applied to the new measurement window. If you select No, the attribute is not applied to the new measurement window.

5. Click OK.

   The selected attributes are copied to the new measurement window.
