Tree Pane

The tree pane contains following tabs and filter functions:

Outline

In this tab, all elements of the component self:<component name> are listed. Also you find all methods and processes in this tab.

For a better handling of these elements, you can use several filters and a search function:

Opens the "Options" dialog window, reduced to the settings of the filter.

Changes the criteria of sort.

Expands the trees in the "Outline" tab.

Collapses the trees in the "Outline" tab.

Runs a search in the "Outline" tab for the admitted letters.

Navigation

In this tab all diagrams, methods and processes of the component are listed in a tree view. Elements used in a method or process are displayed as subnodes of the method or process. Subnodes of the elements contain the exact positions of the element occurrences in the ESDL code. A double-click on an element or an element location opens the element's method/process in the Specification view.

Expands the trees in the Navigation tab.

Collapses the trees in the Navigation tab.

Runs a search in the Navigation tab for the admitted letters.

Database / Workspace

The upper part of this tab displays the folders and items contained in the current database/workspace. The database/workspace name is the root of the tree structure. Each database/workspace contains one or more folders, which in turn contain other folders and items.

The lower part of the tab displays any notes or internal comments on the item currently selected in the upper part.

Expands the trees in the "Database"/"Workspace" tree.

Collapses the trees in the "Database"/"Workspace" tree.

Runs a search in the "Database"/"Workspace" tree for the admitted letters.
