Writing Data of Arrays, Matrices, Characteristic Lines/Maps to a File

It is possible to write the data from an array, matrix or characteristic line/map to a file and to read it in again. The data is written in tab-delimited ASCII format.

1. Open the data editor of the component that contains the array, matrix, or characteristic line/map.
2. In the "Elements" pane of the "Data Editor for: <Component>" dialog window, select an array, matrix or characteristic line/map.

3. In the Element menu, select File Out Data.

   The Windows file selection dialog window opens.

4. Select a path and a file name.

5. Click Save.

   The data from the selected array, matrix or characteristic line/map is written to the file.
