Exporting a Data Set

The data set of a project or a component can be exported separately from the functional specifications. With this feature the data sets and the specification can be developed in parallel.

1. In the "Data Editor for: <Component>" dialog window, select the data set you want to export.

2. In the Data menu, select Export.

   The Windows file selection dialog box opens.

3. Type in a data set name and press <Enter>.

   The data set selected is exported.

The same commands are also available in the main menus of the specification editors (File menu, Export submenu, Data submenu, For Component menu option) and the project editors.
