Importing an Export File from ASCET-SD prior to Version 4.0

If you still have ASCET-SD 4.x, you can use very old export files with the current ASCET version. Proceed as follows:

1. Start ASCET-SD 4.x.

   These versions contain interfaces to the very old database formats.

2. Import the old export file.

   The database items are converted to the format of the corresponding ASCET-SD version.

3. Export the imported items.
4. Close ASCET-SD 4.x.
5. Start the current ASCET version.
6. Import the database items you have just exported from ASCET-SD 4.x (see Importing from Binary Export Files).
