Deleting a Database/Workspace

You cannot delete a database or workspace from within ASCET.

1. If the database/workspace you want to delete is open in ASCET, close it.

   If you try to delete a database/workspace that is opened in ASCET, an error message occurs.

2. In the Windows Explorer, select the directory (e.g. ..\ETASData\ASCET6.4) that contains the database/workspace you want to delete.

3. In the Windows Explorer, delete the subdirectory containing the database/workspace.

   If you try to delete a database that is opened in ASCET, an error message occurs.

   Note
   No error message opens when you try to delete a workspace that is opened in ASCET. So be careful when deleting a workspace.
