Copying Elements in the Element View

1. In the "Database" or "Workspace" field, select a component or project.

2. In the "Contents" field, click the Elements tab.

   The element view is displayed.

3. In the element view, do one of the following:

   • Select one or more entries.
   • From the Edit menu or the context menu, select Select all to select all entries.
   • Press <Ctrl> + <a> to select all entries.

4. Do one of the following to copy the selected elements to the clipboard.

   • From the Edit menu or the context menu, select Copy.

   • Press <Ctrl> + <c>.

5. Do one of the following to insert the elements from the clipboard in the component:

   • From the Edit menu or the context menu, select Paste.
   • Press <Ctrl> + <v>.

   If an element with the same name already exists, a counter (_n) is added to the name of the pasted element.
