Tree Pane Options

This node contains options for searching the Tree pane.

Start Search from Root Node

If activated, each search starts from the root node of the component.

Default Search Mode

Defines the search mode that is preselected upon ASCET start.

Available selections:

Simple Mode	Adds wildcards at beginning and end of the search string.
Wildcard Mode	Allows the use of wildcards (* and ?) anywhere in the search string.
Type-Ahead Mode	Starts the search with the first character you type, and refines the search with each further character.
Last used	Keeps the most recent mode.

The options are also available in the Search in Tree window. Settings in one of the windows are transferred to the other.

The Filter subnode contains links to subnodes with filter options available in the Outline and Navigation tabs of the component editors.
