Search Window

This dialog window is opened with the Search option in the Edit menu of the Component Manager or a component editor.

This window contains the following elements.

Enter a string field

Input field for the search term. Previous terms can be accessed via the combo box attached to the field.

Select what you are looking for combo box

Contains the possible objects you can search for.

Components	search for database/workspace items
References to component	search for references to a database/workspace item
Declarations of method/process	search for methods/processes/runnable entities
References to method/process	search for references to a method/process/runnable entity
Declarations of method/process element	search for local elements (arguments, return values, local variables) of methods/processes/runnable entities
Declarations of element	search for elements
References to element	search for references to an element
Senders of message	search for components sending a message
Receivers of message	search for components receiving a message

Find

Closes the window and starts the search.

Closes the window without starting the search.
