External Tools Node

The External Tools node contains options for external tools. Some external tools have separate subnodes (see the list below), e.g., the compilers or the text editor which can be called from the ESDL or C code editor or from the ASCET monitor window. Other options are set directly in the External Tools node.

For the meaning of the options directly in the External Tools node, refer to the descriptions in the Options window.

  The ASCII Editor node contains options for the external text editor that can be accessed from several ASCET editors and dialog windows.
