Filtering the Messages Tab
The Messages tab of the monitor window can be filtered in several ways. All filtering methods operate in combination.
Activate one of the options
at the lower right of the Messages tab. Only messages of the selected type are shown.
Activate/deactivate Show hidden messages.
Shows/hides all hidden messages of the type selected via the options.
Use the Filter field:
In the Messages tab, enter a search string in the Filter field.
The filter uses type-ahead mode, i.e. the Messages tab is filtered as soon as you enter the first character. The filter becomes more refined with each further character you type.
A message is shown if it is selected by the options and contains the search string, or if its parent contains the search string; see the
example.To clear the filter, remove the search string from the Filter field.
