External Editor View

This view is available only in the ESDL and C code editors for CT blocks. |
The external editor view contains the following elements:
selection field
This field lists all methods in the CT block. You select the one you want to edit.
text field
This field shows the body code of the method selected in the selection field.
Start Edit
Opens the external editor.
End Edit
Closes the external editor.
Update
Copies a saved version of the code in the external editor into the ASCET C code editor.
