Configuring the Integration Method

Note

This instruction is only applicable for experiments with CT blocks.

Except for the solver configuration, the offline experimentation environment works as normal. Using the experimentation environment is described in Experimentation.

  1. In the experimentation environment window, do one of the following.

    • Open the Tools menu and select CT Solver.

    • Click the Open CT Solver button.

    The Solver Configuration window opens.

  2. Select the integration method from the Integrator combo box.

Depending on the selected method, different parameter fields are shown.

  3. Set the dT parameter and the other parameters.

    Note

With online experimentation, (see Online and Offline Experimentation), dT is set in the OS tab of the project editor. The dT input field in the Solver Configuration window is disabled, changes during measurement are not possible.

Default restores the default settings for the selected integration method.

Set as Default uses the current settings as default for the selected integration method. The values are transferred to the respective subnode of the CT-Solver node in the ASCET options dialog window

  4. Click OK.

These settings override the default solver settings specified in the CT-Solver node of the ASCET options dialog window. They are stored with the experiment.
