Creating a C Code Component

1. In the Component Manager, select a folder for the new component.

2. In the Insert menu, point to Class or Module and select C Code.

   Or

3. Use the or buttons:

   1. Use one of the arrow buttons to select the type C Code.
   2. Click Insert Class – C Code or Insert Module – C Code.

   A new component is created in the selected folder.

4. Type in a name for the component and press <Enter>.

5. Do one of the following:

   • In the Edit menu, select Open Component.
   • Press <Enter>.
   • In the "Database" or "Workspace" list, double-click the component name.

   The C code editor for the new component opens.
