External Source Editor Window

The External Source Editor is opened with the button.

This window contains the following elements:

• File menu
• Edit menu

• Code for Target field

  Lists the target for the C code component.

• Code Gen. Arithmetic field

  Lists the arithmetic for the C code component.

• Implementation field

  Lists the implementation for the C code component.

• Code tab

  Contains the code for the method or process body. Use the options to select the external source type.

  C Code option	in C code
  Object Code option	in object code

  Note
  Object code cannot be edited.

• Header tab

  Contains the code for the method or process header. Activate the Use header global option when you want to apply the header code to all generated *.c files.
