Saving a Component Specification

1. To save the component to the ASCET cache, do one of the following:

   • From the File menu, select Save.
   • In the General toolbar, click the Save button.

   Note
   This command does not save the component permanently in the database/workspace.

2. To make the changes permanent, go to the Component Manager and do one of the following:

   • Open the File menu and select Save.
   • Click the Save button in the Component Manager.

   The Save command in the Component Manager stores all changes you have made in the database/workspace.
