Insert/Edit Comment Dialog Window

This dialog window opens when you add a new comment to a block diagram or edit an existing comment.

This window contains the following elements:

text input field
Used to enter a graphical comment.

View Configuration area

Contains one combo box for each view. Each combo box offers the same selections as the Views window (graphical editors).

For comments in block diagrams, only the selections Normal, Invisible, and Use Global Settings are recommended.

Invisible	The comment disappears from the graphic display and can no longer be selected in the drawing area.
Normal	The comment is displayed.
Use Global Settings (*)	Uses the global setting for comments in block diagrams; see Editing a View.

Note
Your settings in the View Configuration area will be used as defaults for new comments, as long as ASCET runs. The settings are not stored when you close ASCET. When you export the view, the settings are stored in the <BasicBlockDefaults> section of the view export file.
