Context Menu for Diagrams, Methods and Processes (Outline Tab)

In the Outline tab, the context menu of a diagram, method or process contains a sub-set of the following functions:

Copy (<Ctrl> + <c>)

Copies a selected method or process to the ASCET clipboard.

Paste (<Ctrl> + <v>)

Pastes the method or process of the ASCET clipboard.

Delete (<Del>)

Deletes a selected method or process.

Rename (<F2>)

Renames a selected method or process.

Properties (<Ctrl> + <Shift> + <p>)

Opens the signature editor for a selected method/process.

Implementation (<Ctrl> + <Shift> + <i>)

Opens the implementation editor for a selected method/process.

Use physical Settings

If the Mixed_Physical_Implementation is selected in the Implementation tab of the Browse view, and if the selected method/process has an implementation, you can use this menu option to activate the physical settings (i.e. implementation <undef>) for the selected method/process.

If the Mixed_Physical_Implementation is selected in the Implementation tab of the Browse view, and if the selected method/process has no implementation (<undef>), this menu option is selected and disabled.

If a normal implementation is selected in the Implementation tab of the Browse view, this menu option is not selected and disabled.

Add Diagram

Public

Adds a public diagram.

Private

Adds a private diagram.

Create ASCET Link

Creates an ASCET link that opens the component, highlights the selected diagram, method/process, or method/process element in the Outline tab and shows the diagram, in the drawing area.

Load Diagram

Loads the selected diagram.

Move Up Diagram

Moves a diagram up in the Outline tab.

Move Down Diagram

Moves a diagram down in the Outline tab.

Move Method to / Move Process to

Moves a method/process from one diagram to another diagram.

Convert Method to / Convert Process to

Note

This menu option is disabled in classes because classes allow only methods.

Converts the selected method into a process, or vice versa (see alsoConverting a Method or Process).

Default Method / Default Process

Marks the selected method or process as default method/process (see also Selecting a Default Method/Process).

Add Method

Adds a method to a diagram.

Add Process

Adds a process to a diagram.
