Importing Views

You can import previously exported views. If an export file contains several views, all of them are imported.

1. Open the Views window.

   In the Component Manager, do one of the following:

   • Open the Tools menu and select Views.
   • Click the Edit Views button.

   The Views window opens.

2. In the Views window, click Import.

   A warning opens that existing views (identical names) are overwritten upon import.

3. Confirm the warning with Yes.

   The Import File window opens. It shows all *.xml files in the ASCET export directory.

4. Select the file you want to import.

5. Click Open.

   The views in the selected file are imported in the ASCET database/workspace.
