Creating a SenderReceiver or NVData Interface from an Existing Record

A SenderReceiver or NVData interface can be created from an existing ASCET record.

Note

Without activated Enable Creation of AUTOSAR Components option, you cannot create AUTOSAR components, neither via Insert > AUTOSAR > * nor via Reproduce As > *.

  1. In the Component Manager, select the record you want to reproduce as SenderReceiver or NVData interface.

  2. In the Edit menu, point to Reproduce As and select SenderReceiver Interface or NVData Interface.

    The new interface is created in the same folder as the original record. It is named *Closed= SenderReceiver or NVData_<record name> and contains all scalar elements, arrays, matrices, and records from the original record.

  3. Double-click the new item to open the interface editor.
