Repository

The repository is the place where the files containing versions of items under version control are maintained. In some SCM Source Configuration Management, a general term for versioning of software elements and their relationships. tools, this is called "archive".

Note that, except for Subversion, ASCET-SCM does not provide functionality for creating a repository. The instructions provided for ASCET-SCM assume that this repository already exists. If you want to test a software prototype and you do not yet have a (Subversion) repository available for this purpose, create one in an empty folder by using a suitable tool.

Note
ASCET-SCM only supports Subversion repositories in Subversion 1.6 format.
