Adding and Committing an Item (Simple Mode)

In most organizations, software under development is brought under centralized control by an administrator who takes care of repository management. The following instructions are primarily intended for users who want to add local items to the Subversion repository.

To bring items under version control, proceed as follows:

1. In the ASCET component manager, select the items you want to add and commit.

2. In the SCM menu, select Add and Commit.

   The Add and Commit dialog box (Simple Mode) opens. It contains the selected items in the Configurations table.

3. Click the Add and Commit button to add the items to the repository.
